The traffic towards Ngong has been an issue for quite a while. There are quite a number of real; estate investment in the Ngong region and the infrastructure projects is not yet up to the level whereby the vehicles can move with ease all the way to Ngong. The bypass and the doubling of Ngong Road has eased traffic but when the vehicles get to Karen, all the way from the Karen roundabout to Ngong there is an issue with traffic.

Even the Lang’ata road is being doubled for some distance and also there are a couple of malls in the Karen area so this is just to make the situation worse. It is difficult getting back home but going to work is a little easier only that people that leave around the CBD tend to wake up a little later due to the proximity.

Overlapping matatus is the other issue.



In the evening matatu is Shs. 150
